Denham Springs Parade

Ben, Cooper, Andy, Julie and I had plans to ride in the parade on Mike and J's float while Monika keep Kyleigh and Sarah. Well, nothing went as PLANNED. Ky was sick with the stomach virus and Monika had a wreck happen in front of her driveway preventing her from leaving home. So, then the plans changed to all of us staying home. Well, Ms. Sandy came through as a sitter for Sarah and my sweet hubby volunteered to stay home with Ky so that I could go to the parade that I had been looking SOOO forward to. (after riding in the Christmas Parade, I was ready for some more and Cooper was too) I was just sad that Ben couldn't join us. Well, it took a LOT to get there but we made it.We sent this pic to Daddy saying THANKS!..

Cooper and I made it back home where Ben continued his awesomeness!! He declared we were having "Date Night" at home since we wouldn't be going out due to Kyleigh being sick. He suggested then went to pick up sushi (again for me, he hates sushi, he got hibachi). Cooper went to his room to watch a movie and play video games. But, of course, Cooper smelled food and came to join us. We joked with him and told him this was our "date night", knowing we would give in and let him join us. The three of us had a lovely dinner. Cooper did retreat to his room after his belly was full. Ben and I watched Secretariat, which was very good! Thanks again Hubby for all that you do and for making my day get better and better!

LSU Baseball

Cooper went to his first LSU baseball game tonight! Nana and PawPaw scored some tickets so they picked Cooper up from school and met Ben at the game. Ky and I had a girls night at home! At the new Alex Box Stadium...
Watching with PawPaw... A nice man next to them gave Coop a foul ball he had caught...

Trip to the Park

Lola finally did go back inside, just in time for Kyleigh to wake up so we could pick up Cooper in carpool. We decided to head to the park and enjoy more of the beautiful weather.
Love both their smiles and that they make each other happy!..
Sweet babies...

Welcome Sunshine!

We are all so excited about the wonderful weather, sunshine and temps in the 70's. Even Lola is loving it. When I was taking her out this afternoon while Kyleigh was napping, she let me know that she did not want to go back inside anytime soon.

Just what I needed

Even though I was only gone for a few days, Ben knew how much I was missing him and the kids while I was in New Orleans. Being the wonderful husband and daddy he is, they made me a poster then sent me this picture by text message. I love yall too, more than you will ever know! It brought tears to my eyes and a huge smile to my face! It was just what I needed. Gotta love Kyleigh's big bag of cereal. Daddy was gonna let her have whatever made her happy. Of course, daycare called the first afternoon I was gone to say that she was running a fever. So, she and Daddy had Thursday afternoon and Friday at home together. I think she just wanted him all to herself as she is turning into such a Daddy's girl.

Soccer is back!

It seems like it has been forever since we have been on a soccer field. Cooper sat out the fall season in order to go to tailgating/LSU football games. But as always with all sports, he is VERY ready for it! The weather was beautiful. It was wonderful to be out in the sunshine!
