Baseball is here!

Cooper had his first Coaches Pitch game tonight. He is excited that they do not have to hit off the tee anymore. Here are some stats from his first game. In the field, he caught a grounder and a pop fly at first base, and made a throw out from third to first. He went 3-3 at the plate: a home run (on an error), a single then another home run (hit the ball to the fence)! This month should be exciting!

Love their Daddy!

The kids and I, even though we were busy, missed Ben when he was on his golf trip. We were all very excited to see him when we came home from Cooper's baseball practice. Kyleigh even wanted Daddy to give her a bath tonight, something she rarely requests as she always wants Mommy.

I went to take a bath and found this when I walked into our room. They are out! Golf, swim and baseball are hard work...

Daddy's Annual Golf Trip

Ben went on his annual Livingston Parish Ryder Cup golf trip this weekend. The guys always have lots of fun and many memories of the weekend.

Mommy heads to NOLA

After I brought Kyleigh to Prairieville, I headed to New Orleans to meet up with the Jacobsens and Youngs. I have said every year that I will join them on this weekend but finally did it. We spent the afternoon uptown on Magazine street. Us girls shopped while the boys played then we met up for lunch at the Rum House. Yummy!

Kyleigh headed to the Ezell's on Saturday morning. She was so excited to being staying with them. Of course, because she gets ALL of the attention she wants! Every morning this week when I would get her out of bed, she would ask me if it was time to go to Linda's. So cute! She had so much fun! Thank you Aunt Linda and Uncle Glen!

Cooper goes to Monroe

This weekend had all of our family headed in different directions! Cooper went to stay the night at Pops and CC's house Friday night then rode with them to Monroe on Saturday for Decatur's birthday party. He stayed the night with Decatur then came back home on Sunday. First road trip for our boy without us. He loved every minute of it! Thanks Carlton Family!

Fun Day in NOLA

Since I had the day off, I talked Cooper into skipping school and going to New Orleans for the day. It didn't take much convincing, he was excited, especially since Charlie was going with us. They are finished with their school work but don't offically get out until next Tuesday. Our first stop was the Insectarium.
