Christian's Birthday Party

Friday evening, I took Cooper and Kyleigh to Christian's Party at Mr. Gatti's while Ben went to play 9 holes of golf. I was surprised that Cooper did not want to go with Ben as he asks everyday if they can play golf. But these 3 words made him want to go: Party, Gatti's and Christian. It was a small gathering but the kids had lots of fun. These 3 are going to miss each other next year when they all go to different schools for kindergarten. Blasia in her glasses...

Easter morning

Cooper was the first one up on Easter morning. He came running in our room to let me know that we had a surprise in the living room. He kept saying "Come see, come see". So, I questioned him about the surprise while I laid in bed. I asked Cooper what the surprise was? He said a basket. I asked if he peeked in the basket and he said no. So we keep talking about it being Easter then he said "Come on Mom, you have to see the Spiderman Motorcycle and Woody". I had to laugh, I figured he had already looked in the basket before coming to our room.

Dying eggs

We finally found some time to dye Easter eggs Saturday night. Kyleigh and I picked up Gatti's pizza while the boys were golfing. It was getting late by the time they got their shower and ate dinner. While I was putting Kyleigh to sleep, they got in our bed and started watching a movie. When it was time to get started, Cooper told me he was tired and I could do them by myself. But as soon as I was getting all the stuff out, there he was wanting to help. Love dying eggs, always so much fun and no real disaster this year. Definitely tired...

Girls Night Out

Friday night, we had a high school "reunion" at Big Mike's Bar and Grill. There is a group of 4 or 5 of us that always try to get together when our friend Julie is home visiting from Austin. Well, this time, thanks to Julie posting it on Facebook, we ended up having about 15 friends along with some spouses/significant others come. It was great seeing everyone. We all had a wonderful time. Ashleigh, Julie and me...

The rest of the crew joined in for this picture. We had about 10 cameras going, so everyone is looking at different cameras...

Cooper's First Golf Outing

Cooper has been talking about playing golf with his Daddy since we moved. Ben just hasn't found the time to take him as we have been so busy with our house and the engagement party. Well, after letting me go shopping by myself on Good Friday for several hours, he took Cooper to play 9 holes late that afternoon. Ben went to the clubhouse to get the cart then came home to pick Coop up so I could see them. He was so cute and excited! They had a great time! The first thing out of his mouth when he woke up on Saturday morning: "Mommy, can I play golf with Daddy today?" After we finished our Easter errands, they got to play another 9 holes that afternoon. Looks like his gift of golf clubs from Santa will get some use after all. Waiting on Daddy...

Easter Bunny

I took Cooper and Kyleigh on Thursday to see the Easter Bunny. It was worth the 45 minute wait. I love their smiles!!
