Mommy's Helper

We have casual dress days at the office sometimes, usually on a day where we don't have a full schedule of patients. If I am in jeans when I go in Ky's room to wake her up, she quickly says "I want to go to your office"! She loves going to see the ladies at my office (calls them my "helpers") and play with them. She stays for a little while then Annette will take her to school. Kyleigh LOVES these days!

Jocelyn's Shower

Today, I helped host a shower for Jocelyn at Forrest Grove Plantation. We are so happy that they have been blessed with this pregnancy and can not wait to meet Miss Keaton Elyse in May!

The Newest Carlton

This morning as Cooper was headed to the bus, he found a turtle under the gate leading into our courtyard. He pleaded with Ben to keep the turtle safe while he went to school. Ben agreed and put him in a bowl. That afternoon, as Ben was putting together our lawnmower in the garage, Cooper ran from getting off the bus and said "Where is he?" Ben asked "Who?" Cooper replied "Jeffrey, my turtle!" Well, Jeffrey's time with us was almost short lived. Cooper got into trouble for not listening while doing homework so Ben told him that he was returning Jeffrey to the ditch behind our house. Off Ben went and Cooper cried and cried. Ben felt bad and ended up going back to rescue the turtle from the ditch. Guess it was meant to be that Jeffrey was still there! Ben went to Petco to get some food and a home.

After soccer and a nap, we headed to Nana and PawPaw's house. We were celebrating the birthdays of Michael, Shannon and Mimi with a crawfish boil.
