Pumpkin Patch

Today the kids were out of school for the Fair Holiday. We headed to James Grill to meet Lori, Harley, Cody, Heidi, Johnny and Bella for breakfast before heading to Mrs. Heather's Pumpkin Patch. Cooper and I went there for his kindergarten field trip and had so much fun. Cooper was excited to go back and got Kyleigh all excited about it too.
Love these kiddos and love spending our day off together...

Weekend in NOLA

After Cooper's soccer game, Ben and I headed to NOLA with Mike and Jocelyn. We checked in our hotel and headed to the Roux House to watch the LSU/Florida game. The game definitely didn't go as we would have hoped as you can see in the boy's expressions.
Not very happy...
Oh well, better luck next time, Tigers lose 6-14, but still good times with great friends...
We hit the streets of the French Quarter after the game...
And found the perfect t-shirt. I am a DR but remember to call 911 in case of emergency :))

We met up with Julie, Andy and Chris to enjoy a beautiful Sunday in NOLA awaiting the Saints Chargers game.
Me and my love...
The Jacobsen's...
The O'Neal's...
The boys...
The girls...
The whole gang...

Charger Fans unite: Mike and Andy with Emily Turner...
Elevator pic at our hotel, this is where I should have gotten off and stayed put :((
Oh well, you live and learn, life goes on! Glad my hubby had a great time at a great game! Go Saints,  31-24 over the Chargers!

Dad's Retirement Party

Dad was honored today with a Retirement Party at North Corbin Junior High. The faculty and staff at NCJH did an awesome job "celebrating" his years of service. Many wonderful heartfelt things were shared, along with lots of funny stories. It was an awesome show of love and admiration. We are so proud of you PawPaw!!
