Love Family Days

The kids were out of school today for Parent Teacher Conferences. We planned to go to the Global Wildlife Center after Cooper's conference but the weather made us change our plans. The kids picked the movies, always one of their favorite things to do!

Last night, as Cooper tucked Kyleigh into her bed, I could hear him comforting her on the monitor. He was telling her not to be scared that his room was right next door and she could come get him if she needed something. This morning as I went to check on her, she was not in her bed, which always makes me a little nervous with her history of sleepwalking. But then I found her...

LSU vs Florida

It's October and still very hot! So hot that the boys wanted to take a break from playing and head to the gift shop.

Who is number 1? They didn't buy these but did swindle me into buying them jerseys and hats...

As I was working my last Friday ever (can I get a woo hoo?), Ben took the kids to the hunting lease to check out the cameras and put some corn in the feeders. They were looking for deer tracks as they were riding...

On The Mound

Velocity entered its first kid pitch tournament, the Brice Harris Memorial Tournament. So exciting to see these boys put it all together on the field. But was even more exciting to see #32 take the mound for the first time!

And here he goes, came in relief in the first game with bases loaded and 1 out! Talk about a nervous momma, but he was very calm...

And he strikes out the side! Throws to 6 batters over 2 innings and strikes out 5! Way to go Coop!

Pitching second day, love seeing him wear his daddy's number!
