Destin Part 3

Thursday all of us spent all day at the Beach. Playing, Tanning, Swimming. So much fun. Cooper and Daddy having fun in the waves...

Every year on our beach trip, Ben and Cooper build "LSU" in the sand. Uncle Michael helped this year. Since we usually take our beach trip after school has started, we are getting ready for football season. This year we hope it helps our baseball team in Omaha! Geaux Tigers!!!

Destin Part 2

After the first night of Cooper waking up on the top bunk screaming "Daddy, get me down" we changed our sleeping arrangements. Cooper went to stay with Nana and PawPaw in the Master King room. 2 reasons: DVD player and a bed big enough for the 3 of them. That meant that Ben and I had our full bed under the twin bunk to ourselves and got to sleep in almost every morning. Talk about a real vacation, thanks Nana and PawPaw!! Morning time we all were pretty lazy, drinking multiple cups of coffee, reading the paper or our books and eating breakfast. Cooper reading his paper...He decided to read his book with me...Ben called them "Grumpy Old Men", trying to find a tee time as they decided they didn't want to go shopping with us... The guys played golf 3 days (well Glen and Mike 4 days) so the ladies and Cooper would head to the beach or shop. My camera was fogging up but love this pic of Cooper and Nana...

Relaxing on the steps... Playing with Megan...Most nights we cooked at the beach house. After dinner, we would play games. Here we are playing poker. So much fun...Aunt Linda and Nana usually read their books and laughed at us playing at the table...

We did lots of shopping at the outlet mall. LOVE that place. Coach, Polo, Banana, Tommy, Carter's, Crewcuts (J Crew Kids). While the guys were golfing and Nana was shopping, I took Cooper to the playground at the mall...

Destin Part 1

We left on Saturday, June 6th for Destin. We rented a house, "Biglow's Bungalow", in Gulfside Cottages in east Destin for the week. It was such a cute community of 29 cottages, very quiet and relaxing. We arrived that afternooon in time for the LSU Rice baseball game. The ladies hit Walmart for groceries (3 buggies full) while the men enjoyed the LSU victory. Everyone hit the beach on Sunday. After dinner that night, Ben, Cooper, Michael, Shannon and I went to The Track to play putt putt.
