We left for our Disney trip on Friday, February 26
th. We wanted to drive this time for 2 reasons: A) Cooper did not do so well on his first
AIRPLANE trip and B) We have so much stuff to bring with an infant. So, we literally loaded down our Suburban (3rd row seats up, luggage stacked to top of seats, only room for our family of 4 to sit) and started on our drive. Ben loves to drive at night while the kids are sleeping. Less traffic to deal with and it cuts down on having to listen to Cooper say "are we there yet?" or "it's taking too long". Also, we don't have to take any breaks to give
Kyleigh a bottle. Mom, Dad, Michael and Shannon rode together in Mom's Highlander. We planned to stop in Tallahassee and get a hotel room. Michael wanted to get through Tallahassee, only to realize we passed all the hotels. Same thing the boys did going to Omaha for the
CWS. So, we took our chances at the next exit that had a hotel, which was the middle of nowhere. Way too creepy for me, and let everyone know we had to keep driving until we found a well lit, populated area. Ben was glad, he wanted to get as much of the drive as possible done that night. So, we made it another hour or so and stopped in Lake City. That would only leave us a couple of hours the next morning to get to Orlando. As you would know, the kids both woke up when we arrived and did not want to go back to sleep. We finally crashed around 5:30 am and got a few hours of sleep.

Having her morning bottle...

So excited to almost be at Disney...

Just a few of our bags...
