Cotton Bowl: Day 1

After getting the kids to school, Lola to the sitter and picking up Mike and J, we finally got on our way to Dallas. We had decided to drive so that we could bring all our tailgate stuff. Guess how much we actually brought? NONE. Due to "Jerry's World" parking stipulations, we decided we would go to a sports bar for tailgating. So, the whole way there I had to listen to Mike say "If we would have flown, we would have been there by now" :) We will have to decide for our trip in September for the Oregon season opener if we will drive or fly. We stopped in downtown Natchitoches to have some lunch...
After checking into our hotel, we headed downstairs to watch the Les Miles show in the atrium.
