LSU vs Vandy Road Trip: First Day

Ben, Mike, Jocelyn and I left on Friday morning for Nashville. Every year we hope to make it to at least one away game. This year's road trip was to see the Tigers play at Vanderbilt. We had SOO much fun and are looking forward to many more! Jocelyn and Mike on the plane...

They didn't last long... Getting ready to take off after our layover... Ben and I needed to sleep but couldn't. So we played Texas Hold'em. For the record, I won 3 games to 2...

Based on a recommendation from our concierge, we headed downtown to have some lunch at Rippy's... Me and my sweet hubby...

We headed back to Rippy's for some live music...

After bringing the rental car back to the hotel, we took a cab back downtown where our first stop was Tootsies...

Jamaica can wait

Ben and I had always said we wanted to take a trip to Jamaica for our 10 year anniversary. We had such an amazing time on our honeymoon and have wanted to go back since. Well, what can I say, life happens. This summer we both were so busy with the kids and work that we didn't have time to take that trip. So, instead, my sweet and wonderful hubby got me this: A past, present, future ring...I LOVE IT!!!

Labor Day

We had a pretty quiet Labor Day around our house. We all slept in, which was wonderful! Kyleigh slept until 9:30, her latest time ever. Cooper has been on a basketball kick lately so Ben set up his goal in the courtyard. Kyleigh loves watching him from the living room windows. Later, the boys played "real" basketball at the neighborhood court while the girls ran some errands. Loves watching her brother...

LSU vs North Carolina

LSU FOOTBALL has finally arrived! We had our tailgate crew over to watch the game last night. Ben cooked a yummy brisket! LSU did get the W (30-24) but made it way too close. Hope they get it together for Vandy this weekend. Ben, Mike, Jocelyn and I fly out on Friday morning to see them play in Nashville!!Sarah and Kyleigh...

Andy's mom Peggy and Aunt Judy were in town and got to join us for the game...
