Cooper had his first PARDS TBall game last night. He has been so ready for the real thing. Every practice he would say "Mom, is this gonna be practice or a game?" When I would say practice, he would give a big sigh! Well, he got his game finally. And Mommy got her first heartache. One of Coop's teammates was standing very close while they were in the field and threw the ball straight into Cooper's face. And he starts screaming. His coach gets him off the field and I went to check on him in the dugout. Is it his teeth? No, they are still there. It was his nose. Lots of crying so we get some ice, which he keeps on for all of 5 seconds (its too cold). Then he insists that he still wants to bat. When I say "as long as you are okay", the tears went away and he was good as new. Thought he would be black and blue this morning but wasn't.
