Ben grew up Baptist but has always gone with me to Catholic church. Going to Mass and sitting in "big" church is one thing. Ben went but always commented that the homily (sermon) needed to be longer. However, for the last 5 years, we needed to sit in the "cry" room due to our small children. It is very hard to pay attention while in the cry room, because you are either tending to your children or wishing others would tend to theirs. We found ourselves not going as often as we should have. After talking for some time about visiting other churches to find a place that fit our family, we finally did it. We have been visiting First Baptist in
Denham for a couple of months now. Once we were there, we realized how many people we actually knew that were members. Ben and I are enjoying worship service and plan to start attending a Sunday school class soon. Cooper really likes children's church. He is excited that several of his friends from school, soccer and
Tball go as well. He even asks us when we are going to church again, something he was not doing before.
Kyleigh does great in the nursery. This is all new to me (except for the occasional Holiday service with Ben) and bringing back old memories for Ben but we both are really enjoying the change.

This is what we walked in to find in the nursery this Sunday. Ms. Tammy holding
Kyleigh and Sarah...
